The DW Autodesk Revit plugin offers features that facilitate the rapid and informed design of secure spaces. Clicking the 'Cameras' button launches the camera browser within the Revit software, where users can filter products by type or camera resolution. Combining DW's Revit plugin with our innovative hardware, tools, and support revolutionizes how users design projects from the ground up. The plugin is available as a free download exclusively to our Channel Partner Program (CPP) members as an added benefit of partnering with DW complete, cloud-centric surveillance systems.

The DW Autodesk Revit plugin supports the following:

• Cameras Object Family Selector: Choose your camera model(s) from the available list.
• Camera View: Visually display the camera's view in 3D, seeing exactly what the camera's Field of View (FoV) will capture in the room.
• FoV Obstruction Detection: Add custom obstructions such as columns, walls and other objects to visually show how the elements in the room will impact a camera view.
• FoV Adjustments: Adjust a camera's pan, tilt and rotation angles, select Hallway Mode and adjust the lens's zoom (on supporting models).
• Camera mounting accessories: Pair cameras with compatible mounting accessories for a time-saving, pre-configured solution that is fast to place and doesn't require additional configurations.
